Hebron Theological College Admission Requirements

 General Overview of Programmes
The following programmes provide comprehensive, self-paced distance training:

Higher Certificate in Theology — recommended for Lay Christian Ministry
Diploma in Theology— recommended for entry-level ordained Christian Ministry
Bachelor of Theology — recommended for Christian Ministry and Leadership. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Applications for prior learning credits should include: Documents needed for RPL evaluations
A National Senior Certificate (original or certified copy).
An original or certified copy of qualifications attained in theology.
An official transcript from the institution where the qualification(s) was/were completed, indicating the student’s achievements as well as the credit value of each subject.
A Supplementary document indicating the specific outcomes and
NQF level for each subject.
Foreign qualifications must be submitted to SAQA for evaluation,
and proof of these qualifications must be submitted to Hebron with
the SAQA evaluation is attached.
An Administration Fee of R250.00 is charged for RPL
Evaluations. This fee will be deducted from the registration fee
when a student enrols with HTC.

Lapsing of validity of the RPL evaluation
Any RPL evaluation is subject to a 90-day time frame. If the prospective student does not enrol before the 90-day period lapses, a new RPL evaluation may be required, and payment of the RPL fee may again apply.
Credit for any subject can be given only once. HTC retains the right to allow or disallow credit towards Hebron Qualifications.

Qualifications outside South Africa:
Qualifications attained outside of RSA should be submitted to SAQA for evaluation.
