APPLICATIONS FOR POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES ON VIRTUAL AND OPEN
LEARNING MODE OF STUDY FOR SEPTEMBER 2022 INTAKE
Applications are invited from qualified applicants for the following programmes which will be offered from various Digital School of Virtual and Open Learning Centers; Nairobi, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Embu, Kericho, Kisumu, and Garissa beginning September 2022. The entry requirements for each Programme are as shown below:

Minimum Entry Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree in related field with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or equivalent from Kenyatta University or any recognized institution. Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that they have Grade “C” and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization.
Department of Education Communication Technology
Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
Minimum Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from Kenyatta University or any other recognized institution. Applicants should be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) teaching subjects.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Bachelor of Science with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and above in Hospitality and Tourism Management and related fields
Those with Second Class (Lower Division) in Hospitality and Tourism Management and related area with at least two years relevant work experience.

Minimum Entry Requirements
A holder of Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (Second Class Honours Upper Division and above) and/ or related field.

Master of Arts in Kiswahili
Minimum Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or equivalent from Kenyatta University or any recognized university with an average grade of ‘B’ in Kiswahili units. Those with Second Class (Lower Division) and at least
two years of relevant work experience may be considered.

Application for admission into the programme can be done online by a simple click http://applications.ku.ac.keAll you need is:
∙Proof of payment i.e Bank deposit slip.
∙Ensure you have met the eligibility criteria for the selected program.
∙Academic Transcripts and Certificates.
∙Passport photo.
∙Identification documents, either an Identification Card number or Passport number.
Application forms can be obtained from Kenyatta University, Admissions Block, Office No. 12 or at the Regional Centers based in Nairobi, Embu, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu and Garissa or be downloaded from our website. Applicants shall pay a non-refundable processing fee of Kshs. 2,000/= for East Africans and Kshs.4,000/= for non-EastAfricans through Bank deposit into any of the following bank accounts:

Duly completed forms should be returned to the Registrar (Academic), Kenyatta University or any of our Regional Centers. Copies of relevant professional and academic certificates and transcripts, Two (2) I’x1’ passport size photos and original application fee receipt, MUST be attached to the application form.
NB: O’ Level Certificate must be attached: Those with Grade C (Plain) at K.C.S.E must have a Diploma and those with C- (Minus) must have a certificate and a Diploma.
