Ekurhuleni East TVET College Fees Structure 2023-2024

Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) is located in five towns of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM). These are Springs, Kwa-Thema, Daveyton, Benoni, and Brakpan. There are however six college sites that are spread across the five towns. These sites comprise five campuses offering mainly NCV and Report 191 programmes while the sixth one is a centre of specialization.

The campuses offering NCV and Report 191 programmes to comprise Benoni Campus, Brakpan Campus, Daveyton Campus, Kwa-Thema Campus as well as Springs Campus.

One and the only centre of Specialisation which was established in 2015 is called Artisan & Skills Development Centre which is situated in the industrial area of Springs town as well.

Student fees are broken down as follows:

  1. Application fees
  2. Acceptance deposit
  3. Tuition fees
  4. Accommodation fees
  5. Miscellaneous fees and levies
  6. Interest

Students at EEC pay tuition fees for every course taken. These tuition fees vary from course to course and cover:

  • registration
  • all charges for classes, tutorials and laboratories
  • ordinary university examinations
  • library access
  • compulsory personal accident insurance
  • the use of general sporting facilities
  • in the case of medical students, hospital fees for clinical instruction.

Ekurhuleni East College Admission Requirements and Documents

The following documentation should be submitted upon registration:

  • Certified copy of ID or Birth Certificate
  • Previous examination results
  • Proof of Residence or an Affidavit confirming Residence
  • Minors (Persons not paying for themselves):
  • Parent/Guardian’s contact details
  • Parent/Guardian’s certified copy of ID

Requirements

  • Certified copies of the latest report or results (Grade 10 / 11/ 12), and Grade 9 are considered on merit.
  • Other qualifications are equivalent to NQF Level 1 (e.g. ABET Level 4).
  • Certified copy of ID or birth certificate. Proof of Residence which should not be more than three months old.
  • Parent/Guardian’s certified copy of ID and their contact details.
