About Maseno University School Of Business and Economics

The School of Business and Economics was established in the year 2011. Formerly a department within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences continued growth in activities and student enrolment into various programmes heralded new dawn that saw the birth of the school.

It has four departments namely; Department of Accounting and Finance, Department of Marketing and Management, Department of Management Science and Department of Economics. Through these departments, various programmes are offered.
The school also extends its programmes and activities to various campuses and collaboration centres. These campuses and centres include:
1. Main Campus-Maseno
2. Homa Bay Learning Centre-Homabay
3. Regional Institute of Business Management -Nairobi
4. Regional Institute of Business Management -Migori Kisumu City Campus College-Kisumu

The school employs professionally competent faculty and other staff in all disciplines and all campuses. Approximately 250 students are graduated every year from the school’s programmes and many more graduate from other programmes after passing through the school for specific courses that make part of their programmes
