Calculating your fees
Full-fee students (international or domestic) can calculate their unit fee by multiplying the annual course fee by the load of the unit.
The equivalent full-time student load (EFTSL) of the unit is calculated by dividing the number of credit points of the unit (six credit points) by 48 credit points which is the equivalent full-time load per year.
For example, a six-point unit (semester unit) is 0.125 EFTSL, and the annual course fee is R37,790 so the individual unit fee would be:
R37,790 x 0.125 = R4,723.75
Financial assistance
If you are a South African citizen and experiencing financial hardship you may consider applying for a bursary.
