HOW TO APPLY

If you wish to study at Flavius Mareka TVET College and would like to apply in advance to miss the crowds and to determine whether you qualify, follow the following easy steps.
NB: Using this method will save you time but is only a PROVISIONAL registration. You will have to complete the registration process by visiting the College and going directly to the computer registration point in the registration venue for a quotation.

STEP 1: SELECT THE COURSE

STEP 2: FEES

Once you have selected your course, you will have to refer to the fees payable list. Click here to view a full list of fees. If you need a bursary, click here.

STEP 3: DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM

Click here to download the application form.

STEP 4: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM

Complete the application form in easy-to-read BLOCK LETTERS. Remember to clearly indicate the course that you wish to study and the year that you wish to study. Remember to specify the campus where you would like to study.

STEP 5: DOCUMENTATION

You will also need to submit the following documents with your application form:
Certified copy of ID
Certified copy of highest qualification/grade passed

STEP 6: SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTATION TO THE COLLEGE

Send your Application form, with all the relevant documents to the College using one of the following methods:

STEP 7: FEEDBACK FROM THE COLLEGE

Once you have submitted your application form, please allow for two weeks for the application to be processed before making enquiries. Once your application has been received by the college you will be notified via SMS/e-mail that we have received your application to study.
If you do not receive a response within 2 – 4 weeks of submitting your application, please enquire at Ms Sonet Cilliers, Manager for Student Administration, to find out about the status of your application.

STEP 8: REGISTER

Consult the official registration timetable. Click here to look at registration dates.
Report to the registration venue on the said dates and start your registration process at step 3 (computer quotation point).

Flavius Mareka FET College

Flavius Mareka TVET College has three campuses, Sasolburg Campus, Kroonstad Campus Mphohadi Campus

Flavius Mareka FET College is situated in the Fezile Dabi District of the Free State Province, South Africa. The Flavius Mareka FET College includes the following former institutions: Kroonstad, Mphohadi and Sasolburg Campus. These colleges of Education merged in 2000 to form Flavius Mareka TVET College.

The College was named after a prominent figure in educational, cultural and political circles i.e. Mr Flavius Mareka. He lived in Kroonstad and passed away in 1965. Flavius Mareka TVET College has three campuses. The Sasolburg campus has two sites specializing in Engineering Studies and Business Studies courses respectively.

The other two campuses- the Kroonstad campus and the Mphohadi campus- are located in the Kroonstad area.

Apart from offering full-time and part-time formal programmes at its three campuses, Flavius Mareka TVET College is also proud of the fact that it takes education and training to communities.

A number of learnership and skills programmes are offered throughout the Free State province in smaller towns, such as Heilbron; Parys, Koppies and Villiers.
