How does it work?

In return for funding your studies, the company may require you to repay them by signing a work contract with them. ABOUT THE AFRIMAT BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED | SELECTION
Afrimat is inviting students from the Midvaal area, to apply for bursary funding for the 2023 academic year.
Afrimat Glen Douglas Dolomite will be awarding bursary funding for students pursuing studies within these fields (National Diploma/ BEng/ BSc Degree):
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted – if you do not receive any feedback, please regard your application as unsuccessful.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AFRIMAT BURSARY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must reside within the Midvaal area (Gauteng)
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying for a Mechanical Engineering or Mining Engineering undergraduate qualification
- You must have completed your first year of study (with no outstanding modules
- You must be in your second year of study in 2023
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE AFRIMAT BURSARY
Applications must be submitted online at Afrimat Bursary Application 2023
Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your online application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric Certificate (certified copy)
- Academic transcript/ results of completed studies (on institutions letterhead)
- Proof of residence
- Curriculum Vitae
Note: All supporting documents must be compiled into 1 single document, no larger than 20 MB.
